When the car is at around 225degrees should the the upper radiator hose be hard to squeeze its a new radiator a new water pump a new thermostat and all the hoses has been changed?
yes the air/fluid gets hot and expands.
The pressure within the cooling system should be what ever the radiator cap is set for, usually 15 to 16 psi. If it is more than that, replace the radiator cap.
