Question

At my college they have nursing students bend over to check their underwear line to make sure their undergarments abide by the dress code. I believe this constitutes as sexual harassment. Where can I find some state laws that are related to sexual harassment?

Answer

While I understand the need to enforce a dress code, what you describe seems to be an extreme and improper way of doing that. Sexual harassment is prohibited by state and federal law. La. R.S. 23:301 et seq. is where you can find the Louisiana laws. I would note, however, that what you are describing may be sex "discrimination" rather than sex "harassment," so you may want to keep that in mind.
