What was the main entertainment during the Renaissance?
The main entertainment was simply theatre. Plays were contributed throughout all of the Renaissance. There was also art that many people enjoyed. If you consider sports part of entertainment than Joust Tournaments were a huge part of the Renaissance time period. Tons of Europe citizens gathered at fairs and social gatherings to see jousting occur.
