Question

If I'm an out of state defendant how do I get notice there is a case against me? Can a judgement be levied against me without me getting notice. This case is related to small claims or a normal suit, not debt collection.

Answer

You are entitled to notice of all proceedings. File your answer with the court listing your address where you want all papers served.
