What can power a car besides gasoline?

What can power a car besides gasoline?
Alcohol, (bio)diesel, hydrogen, kerosene, methane (LNG), nitromethane, propane & LPG, water... that's all that came to mind, though I wouldn't try burning any of these in my gasoline engine.
