I rented out my house and contracted a property management company for the duration of the lease. The tenants abandoned the house and the property management company applied the security deposit to the rent due. However the tenants damaged the house and I would like to sue them for the damage. The property management company refuses to help with it as I terminated the contract with them and won't even give me the forwarding address of the tenant. Can the property management company refuse to give me the address? I don't know how else to be able to sue the tenants as I need their address.
Answer
The answer depends on the language that was in your now ended contract.
