Question

I have had custody of my 6 year old son since he was a few months old. His mother never paid the child support ordered by the court. She never really had a job and i did not have the heart to send her to jail. About a year ago I removed the support order when I changed the parenting plan. I just figured it would be easier since she wasn't paying and never really thought she would, again she never really had a job. Well, now she has a good steady job and I was wondering if there was a possibility of me reinstating the support now that she does have means of helping out with our son

Answer

Yes, you can get a support order now even though you rejected one once before.
