Can a evolution motor fit the motor mount in a shovelhead frame?

Can a evolution motor fit the motor mount in a shovelhead frame?
I've never worked with a blockhead motor, but I'd think so, because as far as I know the only thing that's changed with Harley engines in the last 30-40 years is the top end.
