Question

My ex-husband signed a stipulation that he would sign a notarized permission slip for me to take our children on a cruise. He did provide it but it is a photocopy and not the original. I have requested the original with no response. I am not sure if the cruise personnel will accept a copy which could leave us not able to board the ship. Do you know if I have any way to make sure I get the original if needed?

Answer

The only guaranteed option is to go to court for a court order.

Answer

You might check with the cruise company to see if they would accept a photocopy,
