Question

My son was involved in a car accident. He rear ended another car. The other car slammed on his brakes on purpose right in front of him. The other driver was ticketed with reckless driving. Progressive is denying our claim, saying the fault lays at 50/50. This seems crazy to me, I thought it was pretty cut and dry that our damage should be covered since they were the ones ticketed. Any thoughts?

Answer

You will probably have to sue the other party to get compensation for your son's injuries and damages.
