reasons why prosecutor gets changed in a criminal case

Question

reasons why prosecutor gets changed in a criminal case

Answer

any number of reasons - they got transferred to a different department or courthouse, they're sick, or they don't want the case and someone else does. I don't think it is significant unless there are some unknown interesting facts in what type of case or why prosecutor changes or how many times. I think the "hand-off" is pretty routine ... standard operating procedure. Good luck!

Answer

The prosecutor originally assigned your case may also have a conflict of interest that either precludes him from prosecuting the case or makes him feel uncomfortable prosecuting the case
