Can I get my sons father to give up his parental rights? He hasn't spoken to me since I got pregnant, wasn't there for the birth and hasn't met his son. He is now 5 months old. I'm scared one day he will file for custody. They are trying to serve him now with child support papers.

There is no simple answer to your question. The father may seek custody/parenting time at any time. A termination of parental rights, even by agreement, must be ratified by a court.
