How hard is it to learn to drive a truck?

How hard is it to learn to drive a truck?
A small truck, such as a pickup truck, is driven the same as a car. As the size and carrying capacity increases, the issues of control, visibility, and safety increase. Unless an individual has a physical or learning disability, truck driving should not be overly challenging. However, operating a truck safely and properly often takes years of actual driving experience.

Most countries and states require a special license for certain sizes of trucks, notably the larger ones (tractor-trailers) that are used commercially. Drivers in the US may be required to attend a certified school before obtaining a license for commercial operation.

Attending a TRUCK DRIVING SCHOOL can be a burden financially. Check with your local STATE EMPLOYMENT OFFICE to see if they have such a school that they will pay the tuition to send you to.
(One such is the state of Alabama, which will also pay a job training stipend to students who wish to obtain a Commercial Driver's License or CDL.)
