My brother is selling me a truck so I can use for work. A bill of sale has been made, but insurance is kept in his name. Not really any written records, mostly verbal. Alot of witnessses. Can he legally take the truck away from me?

You do NOT own the truck since there has been no proper sale. A sale requires a transfer of the title, and he cannot carry insurance for you if it is your vehicle.
