Question

I have sole custody of my 2 dughters age 14 and 15. My 15 year old is having a lot of issues with the non-custodial parent. What is the rule if my daughter chooses to not want to see the non-custodial parent on that parents weekend?

Answer

A child cannot make that decision. Court orders must be followed until modified. If they are not followed, it may be a basis for a Motion seeking a finding of Contempt.
