My husband is serving a LWOP in the state of California.He was convicted of a murder in 1995. Nothing began until 1999 and that time they used another case against him from 1997 in the murder case. We are trying to see if there is a chance for at least changing his LWOP.They said that he was known for making weapons in prison and that he provided the weapon used in the murder, they found a weapon in his cell in 1997 and that was used against him. He was given the LWO due to the three strike law. Any help at all would be great.

Any help should have been requested at the time of trial, or in a timely appeal for trial error, not 13 years later.. Only newly discovered evidence of proof of innocence could now be raised on appeal, if at all.
