what is paternity action taken against you? or judicial process section. I received a business card from the sheriff department with this information on it. so am confuse, dont know what is it about.

Sheriff left you a card so that you can call and tell them when you can be served the papers. The paternity action is that someone is saying you are the parent of their child and you need to take a paternity test - this is paid by the Dept of Revenue so they can determine if you are the parent.
