Have not seen my husband in about 20 years am i still legally married to him? Would like to get married to some one I met but do not know if I need to get a divorce from my husband who walked out on me and have not heard from

You must complete a divorce before you can remarry. A second marriage without a divorce from the first husband is absolutely void.
It is possible to get divorced from your husband even though you do not know where he is, but you should consult an attorney to assist in that matter.

You should file for divorce either based upon separation of one year, abandonment, or desertion.
