Why do you close your car windows?

Why do you close your car windows?
At different times, there are several different reasons why I do that.
They include . . .

-- Denying access to the inside of my car to birds, insects, foreign objects, and unsavory people.
-- Keeping water out when it's raining.
-- Keeping snow out when it's snowing.
-- Keeping the heat in during Winter driving.
-- Keeping the heat out during Summer driving.Another good reason to do that all the time, any time, every time, is the fact
that the aerodynamic characteristics of the car have been designed with the
assumption that the windows are closed, and that means that your car's fuel
economy (miles per gallon) will always be better with the windows closed.

I always try to remember to close mine in the carwash,
