Question

I worked in a deli, where I was issued a voucher/certificate for a free party sized item. The voucher has my name clearly printed on it and says it entitles me to this item and that it expires in March of 2012. Nowhere on it does it say I must be currently employed to receive said item. The owner does not want to honor the voucher/certificate. Am I entitled to said item. Or can he legally deny me use of it?

Answer

I think he owes you, but collecting on it may be a problem.
