Question

If someone prints and disseminates my private complaint letter at work after I forbid it on the grounds of private intellectual property, can they be made liable for mental anguish and invasion of privacy?

Answer

I would need more facts to accurately answer your question. Are you an employee? What is the basis of your determination that the letter constituted "private intellectual property"? How have you been damaged by the dissemination of this letter and who did it. I would need to know these facts before rendering even a general opinion.
