What sort of hat does worzel gummidge wear?
It depends on whether you're talking about the Worzel books by Barbara Euphan Todd, or the TV series starring John Pertwee as Gummidge that came out in 1980.In the novels, I think Worzel wore an old bowler hat, though in the TV series, it was just a shapeless floppy cloth hat with a wide, crinkly brim (a bit like the sort that Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull used to wear on stage in the '70s).
