How do car companies get their names?
Most are thier owners last names, examples: ford, chrysler, chevrolet, ferrari, lamborgini, benz, koeningsegg, bugatti, etc.
Other names:
volkswagen means "people's car"
BMW means "bavarian motor works"
some like Toyota, pontiac are the names of the town the headquarters/location they started
