Question

lawyer incompetance

If your father, who is now deceased, had been dealing with an attorney for 20 yrs concerning a boundry dispute with no results. Now it is in the ''hands'' of the surviving children and still no results. Can you sue an attorney for incompetency?

Answer

Re: lawyer incompetance

If the lawyer hired by you has been professionally negligent and you have been damaged as a result of that failure, it is possible that he or she may be liable to you to the extent of your loss.
