My friend has been divorced for 5 yes now and has never missed a child support payment for 2 children. He has mailed out the check on 2 instances 2 or 3 days late. She serves him papers and he has to go to court to listen to a berating judge. She has never worked a day in her life. Does he need a lawyer?

If he truly has never missed a payment in 5 years and was only 2 or 3 days late twice in that time, he's got nothing to worry about, but be sure he has been that punctual. People's memory as to what good payers they are sometimes are a bit optimistic.
