What is different about China's and Russia's art?

What is different about China's and Russia's art?
If we art talking traditional art, then there are some major differences in both.

Chinese art has very flowing lines which move horizontally across the page, making the background calm and exotic. The outlines in Chinese art is very thin to show the more slender and passionate side of people versus the details given in their dragons and warriors. The colors of Chinese art are either very soft or very bold, depending on the use of watercolors or traditional ink.

Russian art has very bold lines which accent the characters or figures rather than keeping everything as a whole, almost making the art look block-like or like a coloring book. The colors used in Russian art is very bold and the use of shading is in very obscure angles rather than one focus point.

I hope this helped you out
