Is female companion considered a prostitute and does the punishment for 2nd degree Misdemeanor relates to it as well?
My friend is not a US citizen, was not selling sex for money, just companionship on dinners, boats, social events in Miami, Florida. Can she be punished for it by the prostitution law if no sex was included? It is the first offence - will she get the time up to 60 days in jail?
